J. Brian Hough
Managing Partner
Brian is a senior executive with over 19 years of sales and marketing experience in the field of wireless communications throughout the US and several other international markets. He has been extensively involved in sales through all the major wireless carriers and equipment manufacturers within the distribution and supply chain channel, direct sales as an OEM and turnkey extended coverage integration services.
Prior to co-founding Neutral Path Networks (NPN), he most recently served on the executive management team for WIN Connectivity, with focused efforts on sales strategies in Class A office buildings and expansion to new target verticals in Healthcare, Education, Multi-Family, and Industrial markets as well as Public Safety DAS solutions.
Preceding WIN, Brian operated as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for RF Industries (NASDAQ:RFIL), where he focused on demand creation and new product development into emerging markets, specifically targeted to cellular and public safety DAS verticals. With the expanding opportunities in this space, Brian pushed for the development of new products to build critical turnkey DAS systems, establishing new overseas manufacturing partnerships and channel strategies. In conjunction with the CEO, his responsibilities also included spearheading the M&A team focused on due diligence and negotiations for multiple key acquisitions.
Brian spent 13 years in wireless distribution and supply chain logistics as the Global SVP of Sales & Marketing. During this time, he managed the sales, marketing and procurement organizations. He also oversaw and developed the company sales segments focused on microwave broadband networks, Tier 1 carriers, utilities and the DAS/Small Cell divisions. He was intricately involved in the expansion of the company’s national footprint in order to continuously support the growing Tier 1 carrier’s macro development. As indoor connectivity capacity needs increased, Brian was instrumental in expanding sales into international markets as well as significant growth throughout the US integration channel.
